Last month, we put on our third Those Who Dig showcase in New York City. It was at Muchmore's and featured Beat Radio, The Pine Hollows, and Hey Anna. It was a great show. Check out our recap, complete with photos.
As you check out the slideshow below, you should listen to the band's music. We began with the two Brians of Beat Radio. They played many songs from their fantastic new album Hard Times, Go! as well as some classics from their back catalog like "Teenage Anthem for the Drunken Boat." You can buy all their great music here, like them on Facebook, and follow them on Twitter.
Next was The Pine Hollows, who also have a very good new album of their own out as well called Something My Heart Understands. They were able to play most of it, and lead singer Gianni busted several flashy rock moves throughout the set. Pick up that album here, like them on Facebook, and follow them on Twitter.
The final performer of the night was Hey Anna, who played a jubilant set that included some very cool light decorations they brought to enhance the stage. They performed songs from their self-titled EP as well as cuts from their forthcoming EP Pompette, which is due out May 8th. Check out "Love Love Baby" from the debut and then watch this AMAZING trailer for the new EP and get very excited! Also, the first EP is here, like them on Facebook, and follow on Twitter.
It was a very good time all around. Thanks to Muchmore's for having us, the bands for playing, and everyone who came out. Thanks also to James Rudy for the sweet poster (available for purchase here) and Sole Aviles for the photography. We should be announcing our next show soon, keep an eye out for that.
