Tomorrow night (April 15), Town Hall will celebrate the release of their debut album Roots and Bells with a show at The Studio at Webster Hall. They're playing not one but two sets and it should be a great time.
I'm really looking forward to seeing this band live and hearing the new album. We've shared some of their previous music at Those Who Dig in the past, ranging from their original work to their unique covers, and I expect that to only continue as Town Hall's musical career progresses. Their show starts at 8:00 with an acoustic set. Then, performances by Flearoy and EMEFE will follow before Town Hall takes the stage again. They are promising some sweet raffle prizes, their new album will be for sale, and a good time should be had by all. It's $10 and 19+. Webster Hall is at 125 E. 11th Street. Tickets are available here.
To get you even more excited for the show, have a listen to lead single "Swim Team" and check out another fine cover performance video, this one of "Didn't Leave Nobody But The Baby," from the O Brother, Where Art Thou? Soundtrack. Both are awesome. Hope to see you tomorrow night!
