I've been sick and computer-less, but there are some great shows coming up this week in NYC that I wanted to make sure you all knew about. Read on for all the deets.
Wednesday 1/30 is the record release show of General Dome by Buke & Gase. They'll be playing the Bowery Ballroom. Doors at 8:00, show at 9:00. It's $15 and 18+. Opening acts are STATS and Aleuchatistas.
On Friday 2/1, Allison Weiss will be playing an EP release show for Making It Up at Public Assembly. It starts at 8:00 PM, takes place in the Back Room of the venue, it's 18+, and $8 advance and $10 day of the show. ALSO, the great Field Mouse is on the bill, as is Young Statues.
Also on Friday 2/1, prolific rocker Ty Segall rolls into Webster Hall. He plays with Mac DeMarco and Ex-Cult. The doors are at 6:00. The show is $16 advance and $18 day of the show. It's 18+. Can't make that? He's playing Saturday 2/2 at Music Hall of Williamsburg. Same price, doors at 8:00, show at 9:00 and swap K-Holes for Mac DeMarco.
